Intel Desktop Board DP35DP Product Guide PME# Signal Wake-up Support When the PME# signal on the PCI bus is asserted, the computer wakes from an ACPI S3, S4, or S5 state. WAKE# Signal Wake-up Support When the WAKE# signal on the PCI Express bus is asserted, the computer wakes from an ACPI S2, S3, S4, or S5 state. ENERGY STAR* Capable In 2007, the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency revised the ENERGY STAR requirements. Intel worked directly with these two governmental agencies to define the new requirements. Currently Intel Desktop Boards are capable of meeting the new ENERGY STAR requirements depending upon system configuration. Speaker A speaker is mounted on the Desktop Board. The speaker provides audible error code (beep code) information during the Power-On Self-Test (POST). Battery A battery on the Desktop Board keeps the values in CMOS RAM and the clock current when the computer is turned off. Go to page 56 for instructions on how to replace the battery. Real-Time Clock The Desktop Board has a time-of-day clock and 100-year calendar. The battery on the Desktop Board keeps the clock current when the computer is turned off. 24
