SECTION 6-BACK/SEAT Adjusting/Replacing the Back Release Cord ƽ WARNING The back MUST be locked securely in place before using the wheelchair. NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 6.4. NOTE: The back release cord may be adjusted to a tight or loose fit to meet the need of the user. Adjusting the Back Release Cord 1. Press down on the white nylon lock to release the ends of the back release cord from the cord fastener. 2. Adjust the back release cord to the desired tension. NOTE: Some slack in the back release cord may be necessary to clear the back upholstery. 3. Press up on the white nylon lock to lock the back release cord in place. Replacing the Back Release Cord 1. Press down on the white nylon lock to release the ends of the back release cord from the cord fastener. 2. Feed one end of the back release cord through the cord fastener. 3. Remove the back release cord from wheelchair. 4. To install the new back release cord, reverse the above sections. Adjusting the Back Release Cord
1.
Press down on the white nylon lock to release the ends of the back release cord from
the cord fastener.
2.
Adjust the back release cord to the desired tension.
NOTE: Some slack in the back release cord may be necessary to clear the back upholstery.
3.
Press up on the white nylon lock to lock the back release cord in place.
Replacing the Back Release Cord
1.
Press down on the white nylon lock to release the ends of the back release cord from
the cord fastener.
2.
Feed one end of the back release cord through the cord fastener.
3.
Remove the back release cord from wheelchair.
4.
To install the new back release cord, reverse the above sections.
