Troubleshooting/error messages ENGLISH iTunes Tagging Symptoms The song cannot be tagged. "Memory Full. Connect iPod." "iPod not support tagging." Remedies/Causes The HD Radio broadcast does not support iTunes Tagging function or the broadcast does not contain PSD. You can tag the PSD only when the TAG indicator lights up on the screen. You are trying to store the 101st PSD in the unit. Transfer the tagged PSDs to iPod/iPhone or delete all tagged PSDs from the unit. The connected iPod/iPhone is not compatible with iTunes Tagging. "Tags transfer failed." The iPod/iPhone is disconnected during data transfer. "iPod full. Tags can not be stored." The memory of the iPod/iPhone is full. Disc can be neither recognized nor played back. Eject the disc forcibly. (☞ page 5) A disc has got stuck during ejection. Eject the disc forcibly. (☞ page 5) • Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot be played back. • Tracks on the Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot be skipped. • Insert a finalized disc. • Finalize the discs with the component which you used for recording. For details about finalizing, refer to the manual that came with the component. Playback does not start. • Insert the disc correctly again. • The format of files is not supported by the unit. • Record the tracks using a compliant application on the appropriate discs. (☞ page 55) • Add appropriate extension codes to the file names. Takes a long time to start playback of files. The disc has many folders/files/layers. The unit first checks all the files in the disc. If many files are recorded on the disc, it may take a long time to start playback. Sound and pictures are sometimes interrupted or distorted. No playback picture is shown and caution message about parking brake appears on the screen, even when the parking brake is engaged. "Read error" • Condensation formed inside the unit. Eject the disc and leave the unit for a while (about an hour) and play again. • Stop playback while driving on rough roads. • Change the disc. • The unit is installed at an angle exceeding 30˚ vertically. Install the unit at an angle of less than 30˚ vertically. • Install the unit again firmly. Parking brake lead is not connected properly.
