2.2 Installation Procedures 2 2.2.2 Installing Parts in the Tray (when Paper Feeder Unit PF-707m is installed) Depending on the size of the envelope to be used, the attached auxiliary guides need to be installed on Paper Feeder Unit PF-707m. For details on the envelope size, refer to page 5-2. NOTICE Trays cannot be withdrawn when the machine is not powered. Plug the power cord of the machine into the outlet, turn on the main power switch, then the sub power switch before performing the installation. Using Envelopes of 100 to 139.7 mm in Width The following parts need to be installed when envelopes of the above size are used. - Side auxiliary guide (2 pieces) - Rear assist guide/Lw (1 piece) - Rear assist guide/Up (1 piece) To use envelopes smaller than 139.7mm, use the small size guides of Paper Feeder Unit PF-707m. 1 Pull out tray 5. 2 Open the small size guides (front/rear) to the direction of arrow to set the guides to the positions illustrated below. 3 Insert the side auxiliary guides (2 pieces) into the position- ing screws on the side guides.
