Using Various Functions > Functions Available on the Machine Tab Functions Configure the settings for file format and FAX transmission when sending from the Custom Box. Color/ Image Quality Configure the settings for density, quality of copies, and color balance. Function key FAX TX Report Description Print a report of fax transmission results. Reference page Refer to the FAX System 10 Operation Guide. Density Original Image Resolution Color Selection Sharpness Background Density Adj. Prevent Bleed-thru Contrast Adjust density. Select original image type for best results. Select fineness of scanning resolution. Select the color mode setting. Adjusts the sharpness of image outlines. Removes dark background from originals, such as newspapers. Hides background colors and image bleed-through when scanning thin original.
