SYMPTOMS Aspect Ratio setting is re-set after the channel is changed. SOLUTIONS - When the Format is set to a high-definition setting (720p/1080i) and the incoming program is in high-definition, the Aspect Ratio setting can only be adjusted temporarily. The remote control is not responding. - Make sure the batteries are fresh and installed properly. - Point the remote control unit at the remote control sensor. - Check if the correct function (TV or SAT) on the remote control is selected. - Make sure the correct Remote Control type and code are set for both the remote and receiver. When the Format is set to a high-definition setting (720p/1080i) and the
incoming program is in high-definition, the Aspect Ratio setting can only
be adjusted temporarily.

Make sure the batteries are fresh and installed properly.

Point the remote control unit at the remote control sensor.
- Check if the correct function (TV or SAT) on the remote control is
selected.
