11: Advanced Settings Telnet Settings The Telnet settings control CLI access to the XPort Pro Lx6 over the Telnet protocol. Table 11-3 Telnet Settings Telnet Settings Description Telnet State Telnet Port Telnet Max Sessions Enable or Disable CLI access via Telnet Enter an alternative Telnet Port to override the default used by the CLI server. Blank the field to restore the default. Specify the maximum number of concurrent Telnet sessions that will be allowed. Telnet Authentication Enable or Disable authentication for Telnet logins. To Configure Telnet Settings Using Web Manager To configure Telnet settings, click CLI in the menu and select Configuration. Using the CLI To enter the Telnet command level: enable -> config -> cli -> Telnet Using XML Include in your file: and and XML Settings The XPort Pro Lx6 allows for the configuration of units using an XML configuration record (XCR). Export a current configuration for use on other XPort Pro Lx6 or import a saved configuration file. XML: Export Configuration You can export the current system configuration in XML format. The generated XML file can be imported later to restore a configuration. It can also be modified and imported to update the configuration on this XPort Pro Lx6 unit or another. The XML data can be dumped to the screen or exported to a file on the file system. By default, all groups are exported. You may also select a subset of groups to export.
