Available options The following are some available options: v External options - Parallel port devices, such as printers and external drives - Serial port devices, such as external modems and digital cameras - Audio devices, such as external speakers for the sound system - USB devices, such as printers and scanners - Security device, such as a padlock loop - Monitors v Internal options - System memory, called dual inline memory modules (DIMMs) - Peripheral component interconnect (PCI) adapters - Accelerated graphics port (AGP) adapters (some models) - PCI Express x16 expansion connectors (some models) - PCI Express x1 expansion connectors (some models) - Internal drives, such as: - Optical drives, such as CD drives and DVD drives (some models) - Parallel ATA hard disk drive (some models) - Serial ATA hard disk drive (some models) Note: When adding a serial ATA hard disk drive, the drive must support the legency four-pin power connector.
