Power-status indicators Your computer has an indicator that shows the status of ac power. Note: Your computer keyboard might look different from the illustration above. The meaning of the indicator is as follows: • Green: The ac power adapter is connected. • Off: The ac power adapter is not connected. On-screen indicators Some indicators are displayed on the screen. Caps Lock Caps Lock mode is enabled. You can enter all alphabetic characters (A-Z) in uppercase without pressing the Shift key. Wireless status Press F9 to enable or disable the wireless features. You can quickly change the power state of each feature in the list. For information on the wireless features, refer to "Wireless connections" on page 40. Green:
