1. Locate the bay for the power supply in the rear of your server. Insert a finger into the hole in the metal shield that protects the bay, press the tab 1 in the direction as shown, and then pull the shield out of the chassis. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new hot-swap redundant power supply to any unpainted surface on the outside of the server.
