6 Front USB connector 1 7 Front USB connector 2 Used to attach a USB-compatible device, such as a USB keyboard, mouse, scanner, or printer. If you have more than six USB devices, you can purchase a USB hub, which you can use to connect additional USB devices. 8 Front VGA DB-15 connector Used to attach a VGA-compatible video device, such as a VGA monitor. Intelligent Diagnostics Module This topic provides information about the Intelligent Diagnostics Module (hereinafter referred to as the IDM) and the diagnostic LEDs on the module. Many errors are first indicated by a lit error LED on the diagnostic panel of the server. If an LED is lit, one or more LEDs elsewhere in the server might also be lit to direct you to the source of the error. See "System board LEDs" on page 39. The following illustration shows the location of the IDM and the diagnostic LEDs on the IDM panel. To identify the failing power supply, check the status LED near the power cord connector on the redundant power supply. When the status LED is lit in green, it indicates that the power supply is working correctly. When the status LED is lit in amber, it indicates that the power supply is likely to fail or has failed.
