Hardware Setup PCIX Channel A Frequency Jumper: J27 The jumper is used to set the channel A of 64-bit PCI bus to run at PCI 66MHz or PCIX 66MHz. Channel A includes SCSI interface, 64-bit PCI slot 4 and slot 5. If the onboard SCSI controller is AIC-7899, then NEVER set Channel A to run at PCIX 66MHz as AIC-7899 only supports up to PCI 66MHz; otherwise, the system hangs or fails during bootup. J27 Channel A Running at PCI 66MHz PCIX Channel B Frequency Jumper: J28 The jumper is used to set the channel B of 64-bit PCI bus to run at PCI 66 MHz or PCIX 66MHz. Channel B includes Giga-bit LAN, 64-bit PCI slot 1, slot 2 and slot 3. The default is for channel B bus to run at PCIX 66 MHz. Channel B Running Channel B Running at PCI 66MHz at PCIX 66MHz J28 2-19
