Hardware Setup Back Panel Mouse Parallel Port L-In RS-Out LAN Keyboard L-Out CS-Out DVI Port VGA Port USB Ports Mic SS-Out M ouse/K ey boar d The standard PS/2® mouse/keyboard DIN connector is for a PS/2® mouse/keyboard. Parallel Port A parallel port is a standard printer port that supports Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) and Extended Capabilities Parallel Port (ECP) mode. DVI Port The DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connector allows you to connect a LCD monitor. It provides a high-speed digital interconnection between the computer and its display device. To connect an LCD monitor, simply plug your monitor cable into the DVI connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable is properly connected to your monitor (refer to your monitor manual for more information.) VGA Port The DB15-pin female connector is provided for monitor. USB Port The USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is for attaching USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, or other USB-compatible devices. LAN The standard RJ-45 LAN jack is for connection to the Local Area Network (LAN). You can connect a network cable to it. Activity Indicator Link Indicator LED Color Left Orange Green Right Orange LED State Condition Off LAN link is not established. On (steady state) LAN link is established. On (brighter & pulsing) The computer is communicating with another computer on the LAN. Off 10 Mbit/sec data rate is selected. On 100 Mbit/sec data rate is selected. On 1000 Mbit/sec data rate is selected. 2-9
