Without modifications, the vacuum cleaner is suited for 50 Hz or 60 Hz.  The electrical outlet must be fitted with a 16 A or 10 A slow-blow fuse.  Reliable and safe operation of this vacuum cleaner can only be assured if it has been connected to the power supply.  Do not use the power cable to carry the vacuum cleaner or to pull the plug out of the socket. Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges and do not crush it. Avoid frequently running over the power cable with the vacuum cleaner. The power cable, plug, and socket can be damaged in the process and endanger your safety. 29
