Tip: You can quickly enter phone numbers from your contacts. In the To field, press Enter (Á) and select a recipient from the list. Then select the recipient's phone number or email address. 4. Use the keypad to compose a message (or press Menu [right softkey] and select My Text to choose a preset message). 5. Press Send (left softkey). To send a text message from the Home screen: 1. Use the keypad to enter the phone number you wish to send a message to. 2. Press Menu (right softkey). 3. Scroll down to Send Text Message and press s. 4. Compose your message. 5. Press Send (left softkey). Tip: You can also send text messages to numbers in your Contacts: Press Start (left softkey) and select Contacts. Scroll to the Contacts entry containing the phone number you wish to send a text message to. Press s. Scroll down to Send Text Message and press s. Threaded SMS messages The threaded SMS messaging function allows quick reading of and replying to messages. When you select a previously received message, you will be able to see all of the messages previously sent to and received from that recipient/sender. Replying to a threaded SMS message: 1.
