2. Installation and Connections This section describes how to set up your projector and how to connect video and audio sources. Your projector is simple to set up and use. But before you get started, you must first: ᕡ Set up a screen and the projector. ᕢ Connect your computer or video equipment to the projector. See pages 12 to 15. ᕣ Connect the supplied power cable. See page 16. To the wall outlet. NOTE: Ensure that the power cable and any other cables are disconnected before moving the projector. When moving the projector or when it is not in use, cover the lens with the lens cap. ᕡ Setting Up the Screen and the Projector Selecting a Location The further your projector is from the screen or wall, the larger the image. The minimum size the image can be is approximately 30" (0.76 m) measured diagonally when the projector is roughly 47 inches (1.2 m) from the wall or screen. The largest the image can be is 300" (7.6 m) when the projector is about 480 inches (12.2 m) from the wall or screen. Use the chart below as a rough guide. Setting Up the Screen and the Projector
Selecting a Location
The further your projector is from the screen or wall, the larger the image. The minimum size the image can be is
approximately 30" (0.76 m) measured diagonally when the projector is roughly 47 inches (1.2 m) from the wall or
screen. The largest the image can be is 300" (7.6 m) when the projector is about 480 inches (12.2 m) from the wall or
screen. Use the chart below as a rough guide.
Your projector is simple to set up and use.
