Chapter 3 Managing Your MCA1001 Coax-Ethernet Adapter Network Your Coax-Ethernet Adapters are preconfigured so you can immediately set up a network, out of the box. For advanced users, the MCA1001 Configuration Utility allows you to then manage the Coax-Ethernet Adapters on your network. This chapter describes the features you can use to manage your Coax-Ethernet Adapter network. Warning: Altering the features on the MCA1001 could cause you to lose your video signal and could cause problems with other devices, such as DVRs and cable video-on-demand.
