Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router Note: The preset SSID and password are uniquely generated for every device to protect and maximize your wireless security. NETGEAR recommends that you do not change your preset security settings. If you change your preset security settings, make a note of the new settings and store it in a safe place where you can easily find it. If you use a wireless computer to change the SSID or other wireless security settings, you are disconnected when you click the Apply button. To avoid this problem, use a computer with a wired connection to access the router.  To specify basic wireless settings: 1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the network. 2. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. A login screen displays. 3. Enter the router user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. The BASIC Home screen displays. 4. Select Wireless. You can specify the settings for the 2.4 GHz band and for the 5 GHz bands. If you enabled Smart Connect, both 5 GHz WiFi bands must use the same WiFi settings. If you Network Settings 107
