Edit IP Static Route Fields Field Route Name Active Destination IP Address IP Subnet Mask Gateway IP Address Description Enter a descriptive name for this route for identification purposes only. Use this field to activate or deactivate this static route. Enter the IP network address of the final destination. Routing is always based on network number. If you need to specify a route to a single host, use a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 in the subnet mask field to force the network number to be identical to the host ID. Enter the subnet mask for this destination. Enter the IP address of the gateway to the destination network. The gateway is the next router that your router contacts in order to forward packets to the destination. On the LAN, the gateway must be a router on the same segment as the router. Route Name
Enter a descriptive name for this route for identification purposes only.
Active
Use this field to activate or deactivate this static route.
Destination IP Address
Enter the IP network address of the final destination. Routing is always based
on network number. If you need to specify a route to a single host, use a
subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 in the subnet mask field to force the
network number to be identical to the host ID.
IP Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask for this destination.
Gateway IP Address
Enter the IP address of the gateway to the destination network. The gateway
is the next router that your router contacts in order to forward packets to the
destination. On the LAN, the gateway must be a router on the same segment
as the router. Over the WAN, the gateway will be the IP address of the router
at your ISP.
