Opening image files from other applications Follow these steps to open images using the application's Open dialog: 1 You can open images in another application by selecting Open... or Open File... from the application's File menu. 2 In the application's Open dialog box, select Nikon View DX from the drives listed under "My Computer" and click the Open button. 3 Double-click the icon representing the medium on which the desired image has been saved. If you chose Digital Camera or Removable Media, further folders will be displayed. Selecting Hard Disk displays a Select Folder dialog box, from which you can navigate to the desired location.
