4 Select a folder. Thumbnail previews of the images in the selected folder will be displayed (to change to a list-style display, right-click in an area containing no thumbnails, and select List View from the menu). Inserting Images into Documents Nikon View supports OLE 2.0, which allows you to insert images taken with the Nikon D1 digital camera into documents created by any OLE 2.0 application that supports the JPEG (".JPG") or TIFF (".TIF") formats. Images can be inserted into documents directly using drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste, or embedded using the application's Insert object command. Inserting images by drag-and-drop Drag the desired thumbnail over an open document window in the other application. Note: The dialog box shown above is the standard Windows Open dialog box for 32-bit applications. The contents of the dialog box may vary depending on the application. 5 Select the thumbnail you wish to open and click Open. The selected image will be opened in a window within the application.
