Appendix A - Moving and transporting Moving your MFP Note Lock the scanner before moving the MFP. 1. Turn off the MFP and disconnect or remove the following: • Power cord • Printer cable • Paper in the paper cassette 2. Move the MFP to the new location. Warning! This product is heavy; a minimum of two people are required to lift it safely. Note Be sure to unlock the scanner before turning on the MFP. Transporting your MFP Warning! Your MFP is a precision machine and can be damaged during transportation if packaged incorrectly. Notes • If your machine is equipped with the additional paper tray remove it before transporting. • Lock the scanner before transporting the MFP. 1.
