Advanced shooting functions Metering There are three ways of measuring the brightness of a subject. ESP Meters the center of the subject and the surrounding area separately. n Exposure is determined by metering within the AF target area. In this mode, a subject can be shot with optimal exposure regardless of the background light. MULTI METERING Meters the brightness of the subject at up to 8 different points to set the optimal exposure based on the average brightness. This method is useful with a high contrast subject.
