Trouble Shooting No Sound Check the connection Check that the device is connected to your PC and that the power is ON. Check the speaker Check that the speaker volume is not set to the minimum setting. If there is no problem, continue. Check the sound card Check whether a manual dial knob volume control is present on your sound card. If there is, adjust the volume using the knob. Check the Playback Volume [Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0]] From the Windows [Start] menu, select Settings, Control Panel, Multimedia, Audio Here, if the [Show volume control on the taskbar] check box is not selected, select it. Check that [Volume] is not set to the minimum setting. Double-click on the taskbar to start [Master Volume Control]. Check that the volume of [Master] and [Wave] are not set to the minimum setting and that [Mute] check box is not selected.
