Getting started 1. Connecting speakers Refer to the illustration below to connect the unit and the right and left speakers with the speaker cables. Connect the speaker to be placed on the right hand side to the SPEAKERS terminal (R), and connect the speaker to be placed on the left hand side to the SPEAKERS terminal (L). Since the unit is equipped with the SUBWOOFER PRE OUT terminal, you can enhance bass sound playback by connecting a subwoofer with a built-in power amplifier. Important: Connect speakers with 4 h to 16 h impedance. Connecting a speaker with a lower impedance may damage the speaker. Left speaker Right speaker Speaker cable failure. Also do not connect two or more cables to one speaker terminal or one speaker to several terminals. 2. AM/FM antenna connections Connect the antennas to listen to AM/FM broadcast. When listening to the broadcast for the first time, adjust the antenna position and orientation to get the best reception. Insert the plug fully into the jack. Fix with a tack on the wall. 1. Connecting speakers
