Names and functions of parts Display Auto Standby (ASb) indicator: This indicator appears when the Auto Standby function is on. Format indicators: When a DSD or AAC audio file is playing, the DSD or AAC indicator appears according to the file format. Music Optimizer (M.OPT) indicator: This indicator appears when Music Optimizer (M.OPT) is on. MUTING indicator: This indicator flashes when audio is muted temporarily. FILE indicator: When the source is set to CD and a disc containing audio files is loaded, this indicator appears. The number of files or a file number appears below the indicator. BASS indicator: This indicator appears when Phase Matching Bass (PM.Bass) of the audio quality setup is on. DIRECT indicator: This indicator appears when Direct of the audio quality setup is on. TRACK indicator: When the source is set to CD and a music CD is loaded, this indicator appears. The number of tracks or a track number appears below the indicator. Play/pause (1/;) indicator DIGITAL indicator: When the source is set to OPTICAL/COAXIAL, the indicator status changes as follows: On: The unit is receiving digital audio input signals. Flashing: The unit is not receiving digital audio input signals. AM/FM reception statuses AUTO: This indicator appears when Auto Tuning Mode is selected. FM ST: This indicator appears when the unit is tuned into a stereo FM broadcast. RDS: This indicator appears when the unit receives RDS information. : This indicator appears when the unit is tuned into a radio station. TOTAL/REMAIN indicator: When the source is set to CD, this indicator shows what information about the disc is being displayed. TOTAL: Total disc playback time REMAIN: Remaining playback time of track being played TOTAL REMAIN: Remaining playback time of disc being played SLEEP indicator: This indicator appears when the sleep timer is set. FOLDER indicator: When the source is set to CD and a disc containing audio files is loaded, this indicator appears. The number of folders or a folder number appears below the indicator. Message display area: Track information and menus appear here. The following icons appear. : Folder* : Track/Broadcast station name : Playing back* : Paused* : Searching forward* : Searching backward* : Artist name : Album name : Repeat mode : Repeat one track : Folder repeat* : Memory** : Random * Does not appear when the source is CD. ** This only appears when the source is CD. 9
