This feature is not available if you have connected the front speakers using Bi-Amping connection. You can play through a maximum of 5.1 channels in the main room during ZONE 2 playback. Listening modes such as Dolby Atmos cannot be selected. ZONE 2 SPEAKER You can connect up to two speaker systems and output the same audio. To connect one speaker system, use the ZONE 2A jacks, and to connect two speaker systems, use the ZONE 2B jacks in addition to the ZONE 2A jacks. When connecting two speaker systems, all speakers to be connected to the ZONE 2A/B jacks must have an impedance of 8 to 16 Ω. Please note that it is not possible to connect to the ZONE 2B jacks when surround back speakers or height speakers are connected. Connections with an AV component When playing the audio of an external AV component in ZONE 2, you need to connect it to this unit using a digital coaxial cable, digital optical cable, or analog audio cable. Output to ZONE 2 is not possible when you connect with an HDMI cable. Setup 0 Settings are required in Initial Setup, "4. Multi Zone Setup" (P20) to enjoy this feature. 0 To use the ZONE 2A+B output, set "Zone Speaker" in "1. AccuEQ Room Calibration" in Initial Setup to "Zone 2A + B" (P19). 0 The audio from externally connected AV components can only be played in ZONE 2 when the audio is analog or 2ch PCM audio. If you have connected to this unit with a digital coaxial cable or digital optical cable, may be necessary to convert the audio output of the AV component to PCM output. 17
