Key Combinations 6 *2 Windows XP: standby *3 Even if [Sound] is set to [OFF] on the [Concealed Mode Configuration] menu, or icon on the notification area and [Volume] in [SoundMAX] display do not show mute state. However, audio from the speaker is not heard. Hotkey Settings You can make 2 settings: • Fn key lock When you press Fn, the key is locked (pressed-down) until you press another key. Use this when pressing difficult key combinations. • Pop-up icon on/off 1 Start up the Hotkey Settings. Click (Start)*4 - [All Programs] - [Panasonic] - [Hotkey Settings]. 2 Make the settings. [Use Fn key lock] z When using an Fn key combination A Press Fn once. (Locked) B Press another key. (Lock released) z When using successive Fn key combinations A Press Fn twice. (Locked) B Press another key. Fn key remains locked until you press Fn again. [Notification] [Make sounds when Fn key is pressed]*5 [Show status on screen]: Displays the Fn key status when • : Fn is locked. • : Fn is not locked. on the notification area is clicked. [Disable popup] The pop-up icon will not be displayed. [Display status bar while Fn Key is held down] [Status bar position]: If you select [TOP], the status bar will be displayed near upside of the computer. If you select [Bottom], the status bar will be displayed near downside of the computer.
