Playback/Editing [Protect] You can set protection for pictures you do not want to delete by mistake. 1 Select [Protect] on the [Playback] menu. (P64) 2 Touch [Single] or [Multi]. 3 Select the picture. [Single] setting Select the picture and touch [Set/Cancel]. • Setting is canceled by touching [Set/Cancel] again. • Exit the menu after it is set. [Multi] setting Touch the picture you wish to protect. • Setting is canceled by touching the same picture again. • Exit the menu after it is set. ∫ canceling all the [Protect] settings 1 Select [Protect] on the [Playback] menu. 2 Touch [Cancel]. • Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. Exit the menu after it is executed. 6HW&DQFHO 1 2 3 4 5 6 6HW&DQFHO Note • The [Protect] feature is only designed to work with this camera. • Even if you protect pictures on a card, they will be deleted if the card is formatted. • Even if you do not protect pictures on a card, they cannot be deleted when the card's Write-Protect switch is set to [LOCK]. [Face Rec Edit] You can clear and replace all information relating to face recognition in selected images. 1 Select [Face Rec Edit] on the [Playback] menu. (P64) 2 Touch [REPLACE] or [DELETE]. 3 Drag the screen horizontally to select an image, and then touch [Set]. 4 Touch the name of the person you wish to edit. 5 (When [REPLACE] is selected) Touch the person to replace. • Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. Exit the menu after it is executed. Note • Cleared information regarding the [Face Recog.] cannot be restored. • When all Face Recognition information in a picture has been canceled, the picture will not be categorized using Face Recognition in [Category Play]. - 188 -
