Care and Maintenance Care and Maintenance Clearing Paper Jams Torn paper, thin paper or paper that is creased on the top edge may cause paper jams. If a paper jam occurs, remove the jammed sheet according to the following procedure. CAUTION • The image sensor covers may be very hot after scanning a lot of documents. Removed the jammed sheet after the image sensor covers' temperature has cooled. 1. Clearing Paper Jams
Torn paper, thin paper or paper that is creased on the top edge may cause paper jams. If a paper jam occurs,
remove the jammed sheet according to the following procedure.
CAUTION

The image sensor covers may be very hot after scanning a lot of documents.
Removed the jammed sheet after the image sensor covers’ temperature has cooled.
