Phonebook Phonebook The phonebook can store up to 70 names and numbers. Names can be up to 16 characters and numbers up to 24 digits. Storing a name and number When subscribed to Caller ID, to display the name of the caller instead of the number, save the full telephone number including the area code to the phonebook. Multiple entries can be stored with the same name. However, to prevent unnecessary duplicated entries, the number can be stored only once. Handset / Base unit 1 LMenuR. "Phonebook". 2 LOKR, dL R "Add new". 3 LOKR. "Enter name". 4 Enter the name, press LOKR. "Enter number" is displayed. 5 Enter the number, press LOKR. The entry is saved. 6 Proceed with the operation for your unit. Handset: LOFFR to return to standby. Base unit: LEXIT/STOPR to return to standby. Entering names and writing tips Handset / Base unit Use the keypad letters to enter names, e.g. to store Tom: 8 L R once to enter T. 6 L R three times to enter o. 6 L R once to enter m. To change the text from lower to upper case, press and hold L .R LClearR to delete the last character or digit. : LsR Move between characters/digits. 0 L R to insert a space. Storing a name and number
When subscribed to Caller ID, to display the
name of the caller instead of the number, save
the full telephone number including the area code
to the phonebook.
Multiple entries can be stored with the same
name. However, to prevent unnecessary
duplicated entries, the number can be stored only
