Making/Answering Calls Making calls Using the handset 1 Lift the handset and then dial the phone number. R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN. 2 Press M N to make the call. R To make the call using the speakerphone, press MZN. 3 When you finish talking, press MOFFN or place the handset on the base unit or charger. Note: R To switch to the speaker, press MZN. To switch back to the receiver, press MZN/ M N. R In step 1, you can store the dialed phone number to the phonebook by pressing MSAVEN. 4 When you finish talking, press MZN. Note: R While on a call, you can switch from the base unit to the handset: - Press M N on the handset, then press MZN on the base unit with the call sharing mode on (page 32). - If the handset is on the base unit, simply lift it. When storing a calling card access number and/or PIN in the phonebook, a pause is also needed (page 26).
