Telephoto Wide angle (3) USING ZOOM LENSES Using the zoom function makes the subject appear larger (telephoto) or smaller(wide angle) in the viewfinder. Turn the zoom ring to the desired position and depress the shutter release button to take a picture. • The smaller the number shown in the zoom scale win- dow, the wider the angle.
