Using the Spot Metering Mode The Spot Metering Mode measures light only in the small area in the center of the viewfinder. When shooting by using this metering mode, place the subject you want to meter within the Spot AF frame [ C ]] in the center of the viewfinder. How to use 1. Set the metering mode switch to the [ 0 ] position. 2. Measure the small area in the center of the viewfinder as illustrated. • If the brightness range between areas in the photograph is too great, the exposure should be determined in consideration of the overall brightness. Otherwise, the picture will come out improperly exposed.
