MEM (12) DAYLIGHT-SYNC SHOOTING Purpose In daylight conditions, when a portrait picture is taken with a person's face is cast in the shadow, discharging the flash will eliminate the shadow. a 0 z m Without Daylight-Sync m 0 z Daylight-sync photography is obtained in the same manner as the normal flash photography, so you simply depress the shutter release button. • If the background is too bright, it may be overexposed. • When taking a daylight-sync photograph in the Programmed AE Mode, the flash does not discharge if the automatic flash function is activated even if the flash is in the popped-up position.
