Additional Information Appendix Additional Information ! This unit doesn't support the following formats. - Apple Lossless About folders and MP3/ WMA/AAC files ! An outline of a disc with MP3/WMA/AAC files on it is shown below. Subfolders are shown as folders in the folder currently selected. Notes ! This unit assigns folder numbers. The user cannot assign folder numbers. ! It is not possible to check folders that do not include MP3/WMA/AAC files. (These folders will be skipped without displaying the folder number.) ! MP3/WMA/AAC files in up to 8 tiers of folders can be played back. However, there is a delay in the start of playback on discs with numerous tiers. For this reason we recommend creating discs with no more than 2 tiers. ! It is possible to play back up to 255 folders on one disc. 1 23 1 First level 2 Second level 3 Third level JPEG picture files ! JPEG is short for Joint Photographic Experts Group and refers to a still image compression technology standard. ! Files are compatible with Baseline JPEG and EXIF 2.1 still image up to resolution of 8 192 × 7 680. (EXIF format is used most commonly with digital still cameras.) ! EXIF format that processed by the personal computer may not be played back. ! There is no progressive JPEG compatibility. Important ! When naming a JPEG picture file, add the corresponding filename extension (.jpg, .jpeg or .jpe). ! This unit plays back files with the filename extension (.jpg, .jpeg or .jpe) as a JPEG picture file. To prevent malfunctions, do not use these extensions for files other than JPEG picture files. En 131
