Built-in DVD player basic operations Playing a disc 1 Press EJECT to open the front panel. Disc loading slot appears. # When a disc is loaded in this unit, touch the source icon and then touch DVD to select DVD. 2 Insert a disc into the disc loading slot. Front panel is closed automatically, and playback will start. 3 Press the bottom of the front panel until it is clicked. Note In the following cases, remove the front panel and then attach it again: ! When nothing appears in the sub-display. ! When beep sounds. Disc loading slot # When DVD DISC AUTO is off, touch the source icon and then touch DVD to select the built-in DVD player (refer to page 23). # If you are playing a DVD or Video CD, a menu may appear. Refer to Operating the DVD menu on page 34 and PBC playback on page 40. # When the automatic playback function is on, this unit will cancel the DVD menu and automatically start playback from the first chapter of the first title. Refer to Automatic playback of DVDs on page 37. # You can eject a disc by pressing EJECT. Notes ! The DVD player plays one, standard, 12-cm or 8-cm (single) disc at a time. Do not use an adapter when playing 8-cm discs. ! Do not insert anything other than a disc into the disc loading slot. Discs which can be played back are listed on Playable discs on page 9. 28 En

until it is clicked.
Note
In the following cases, remove the front panel
and then attach it again:

If you are playing a DVD or Video CD, a menu
may appear. Refer to
