09 Using other functions Resetting remote control Note • You can cancel or exit any of the following steps by pressing REMOTE SETUP. Resetting the system Use this feature to reset the system to its factory default settings. Clearing multi operations You can clear a multi operation (see Programming a multi-operation on page 58) you have programmed. Press and hold both the REMOTE SETUP button and 8 for more than 3 seconds. The LED lights will blink 3 times and all multi operation settings will be erased. Clearing learned remote control commands You clear a learned command (see Programming signals from other remote controls on page 54) you have assigned to a button. • Press and hold both the REMOTE SETUP button and 9 for more than 3 seconds. The LED lights will blink 3 times and all learned remote control commands will be erased. Clearing all remote control settings You can clear all custom settings you have made with the remote. • Press and hold both the REMOTE SETUP button and 0 for more than 3 seconds. The LED lights will blink 3 times and all remote control settings will be erased. 1 Switch the receiver into standby. 2 While holding down the front panel TONE button, press and hold STANDBY/ON for about three seconds. The display shows RESET?. 3 Press the front panel TONE- button. The display shows OK?. 4 Within 5 seconds, press TONE+. The display shows OK and the receiver should now be reset. Note • Make sure the multi-room feature is switched off when doing this. • If the receiver is unplugged from the AC outlet for a month or more, it resets to the default settings. 64 En

and 0 for more than 3 seconds.
The LED lights will blink 3 times and all remote control
settings will be erased.
Resetting the system
Use this feature to reset the system to its factory default
settings.

Switch the receiver into standby.

While holding down the front panel TONE
button, press and hold

STANDBY/ON for about
three seconds.
The display shows
RESET?

Press the front panel TONE– button.
The display shows
OK?
.

Within 5 seconds, press TONE+.
The display shows
OK
and the receiver should now be
reset.
Note
Make sure the multi-room feature is switched off
when doing this.
If the receiver is unplugged from the AC outlet for a
month or more, it resets to the default settings.
