1. About Firmware Updates You can update the firmware of the Network Interface Board on the GX series models. 2. Operating Environment and Other Requirements 2.1 Operating Environment A Web browser is required. To use the Web browser, you must first configure the appropriate TCP/IP settings on both the computer and printer. 2.2 Recommended Web Browsers • Windows: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher Firefox 2.0 or higher • Mac OS: Safari 2.0 or higher Firefox 2.0 or higher For details about how to set up and use the Web browser, see the User Guide supplied with the printer. - 2 -
