Printer Features ❖ Memory Usage You can select the amount of memory used in Font Priority or Frame Priority, according to paper size or resolution. • Font Priority This setting uses memory for registering fonts. • Frame Priority This setting uses frame memory for high speed printing. The default setting is Frame Priority. ❖ Duplex You can select to have print on both sides of each page. The default setting is Off. ❖ Copies You can specify the number of print sets. This setting is disabled if the num- ber of pages to print has been specified with the printer driver or another command. 5 The number of copies can be specified from 1 to 999 by increments of one. The default setting is 1. ❖ Blank Page Print You can select whether or not to print blank pages. The default setting is On. The printer does not identify pages with white-colored images as blank. Pages that match one of the following conditions are identified as blank. • There are no images. • There are images but they are outside the printable area. • There are only blank characters. ❖ Edge Smoothing You can set to smoothen the edges of printed characters. The default setting is On. If you print either photo or halftone graphic images, select "Off". ❖ Toner Saving You can save toner. The default setting is Off. ❖ Printer Language Specify the printer language. The default setting is Auto. This menu will appear under the following conditions: • The PostScript 3 option is installed. • Both the PostScript 3 and PCL options are installed. ❖ Sub Paper Size You can enable the Auto Substitute Paper Size (A4, LT) feature.
