Metering The metering mode refers to the way in which a camcorder measures the quantity of light. The brightness and lighting of your photos will vary depending on the metering mode you select. Submenu items • Multi ( ): Meters the light by calculating the amount of light from different areas in the frame. Suitable for normal image capture. • Center ( ): The amount of light metered on the center of the frame influences the whole screen. Suitable for capturing people as the subject occupies a large portion of the frame. • Spot ( ): Measures only the center of the screen and determines aperture.
