4. Convenient Features Turning Off the Image and Sound The projected image and sound can be turned off for short periods of time with the remote control. This feature is useful for breaking up presentations or for other brief interruptions in projections. To turn off the picture and image, refer to the following guide. 1. Press the NO SHOW button on the remote control once (see Part Names of the Remote Control on page 11). 2. The image does not display. 3. To resume projection, press the NO SHOW button once more. Note: For extended periods of time it is recommended that the projector be powered off. Freezing a Picture The projected image can be frozen for short periods of time by using the remote control. This feature is useful for capturing still images from movies or freezing an animation at a particular point. To freeze the projected image, refer to the following guide. 1. Press the FREEZE button on the remote control once (see Part Names of the Remote Control on page 11). 2. The screen freezes. 3. To resume, press the FREEZE button once more.
