Making Calls Your Sprint PCS PhoneTM offers many different ways to make calls, including Sprint PCS Voice CommandSM (pages 26-27), Speed Dialing (page 79) and using Call History (page 65). To make a call using your keypad: 1. Make sure your phone is on. 2. Enter a phone number. (If you make a mistake while dialing, press to erase one digit at a time. Press and hold to erase the entire number.) 3. Press or press , highlight Call and press . (To make calls when you are roaming and Call Guard is enabled, you need take extra step. See "Call Guard" on page 22.) 4. When you're finished, press or close the clamshell. Tip: To redial your last outgoing call, press twice. Tip: When making calls off the Sprint PCS Network, always dial using 11 digits (1 + area code + phone number). Important: When you use your Sprint PCS Phone to maximize performance, extend the antenna and do not touch the antenna (see page 146). Good Bad Section 4 24 Making and Answering Calls
