Replacing the staple cartridges in the saddle stitch unit Open the front cover. 1 Grasp the handle on the saddle stitch unit and pull it slowly out until it stops. 2 Pull the staple unit in the saddle stitch unit out and then rotate it up. 3 Grasp the left and right side of each empty staple cartridge and remove the 4 cartridges. Load new staple cartridges. Replace both staple cartridges. 5 Remove the cover from each staple cartridge and then install the cartridge. Pull the staple unit of the saddle stitch finisher forward and then rotate it back 6 to its original position. 53

Grasp the handle on the saddle stitch
unit and pull it slowly out until it stops.
3
Pull the staple unit in the saddle stitch
unit out and then rotate it up.
4
Grasp the left and right side of each
empty staple cartridge and remove the
cartridges.
5
Load new staple cartridges.
Replace both staple cartridges.
Remove the cover from each staple cartridge and then install
the cartridge.
6
Pull the staple unit of the saddle stitch
finisher forward and then rotate it back
to its original position.
