XL-S10 Listening to a CD This system can play audio CDs, and CD-R/RW discs but can not record CDs. Some audio CD-R and CD-RW discs may not be playable due to the state of the disc or the device that was used for recording. 1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on. 2 Press the FUNCTION button until "Cd dISC" appears on the display. When operating with the remote control, press the CD button. 3 Press the CD EJECT button to open the CD compart- ment. 4 Place a CD on the spindle, la- bel side up. CD Playback 5 Close the CD compartment by firmly pushing the corner marked "PUSH CLOSE". 6 Press the Total number Total playing of tracks time ( ) button to start playback from track 1. When the last track on the disc has finished playing, the CD player will stop automatically. 14

CD Playback
Listening to a CD
This system can play audio CDs, and CD-R/RW discs but can not
record CDs.
Some audio CD-R and CD-RW discs may not be playable due to the
state of the disc or the device that was used for recording.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Press the FUNCTION button until "Cd dISC" appears on the
display.
When operating with the remote control, press the CD button.

Press the
CD EJECT button to open the CD compart-
ment.

Place a CD on the spindle, la-
bel side up.

Close the CD compartment by firmly pushing the corner
marked "PUSH CLOSE".

When the last track on the disc has finished playing, the CD
player will stop automatically.
