QUARTER INCH FOOT WITH GUIDE This Quarter Inch Foot with Guide gives a perfect 1/4" seam guideline, which is used for piecing quilt blocks. Markings on the foot alert when to pivot the fabric. The Quarter Inch Foot with Guide is also perfect for narrow seams, such as those in doll clothes or baby garments. 1. Place two pieces of cotton fabric, right sides together, under the Quarter Inch Foot with Guide. 2. Select Straight Stitch. Set the stitch width to 3.6. Turn the hand wheel toward you to make sure that the needle is lined up in the correct position. 3. Sew, keeping the fabric's edge even with the foot's right edge. 4. When the fabric reaches the foot's ¼-turn mark, leave the needle in the fabric, pivot the fabric and start the next perfect ¼" seam. LARGE EXTENSION TABLE ASSEMBLY 1. Remove accessory box and slide table into place (if legs are not attached or not at the right height, the table may not slide into place correctly). 4. Readjust legs height if needed, so that the table is flush around sewing machine (unevenness of table could cause uneven feeding of fabric when sewing). INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEWING PERFECT CIRCLES The holes provided on the table are in increments of 1/2". The 6 increments provided on table will offer a variety of circle sizes. 1. Attach large extension table. 2. Remove clutch from pin. 3. Install pin over fabric into desired hole on table. 4. Push clutch onto pin below table, as shown in illustration. Be careful to not force pin and clutch too tightly. The fabric needs to rotate easily on pin for even feeding. CAUTION: Do not place anything hot on table surface.
