Changing the screen display Each time you press the (Screen display on/off) button, the display changes as follows. • The histogram may not appear for images recorded using other cameras. Histogram on 60min VGA 96 S AF Indicators off Histogram display (page 29) S AF Indicators on 60min VGA 96 S AF • When you set the histogram display to on, image information is displayed during playback. • The histogram does not appear in the following situations: While shooting - The menu is displayed. - Recording movies During playback - The menu is displayed. - In index mode - You are using playback zoom. - You are rotating still images. - Playback of movies • A large difference in the histogram displayed when shooting and during playback may occur when: - The flash strobes. - The shutter speed is slow or high. 20
