Table of Contents Index 30 Preparing the Recorder Selecting the memory using the menu  Select MENU  the tab  "Select Memory," and then press  /ENTER.  Press  or  to select "Memory Card" or "Built-in Memory," and then press  /ENTER. If you select "Memory Card" and the memory card has not been formatted, proceed to the next step. Otherwise, proceed to step 5.  When the memory card is not formatted, select Menu  the tab  "Format," and then press  /ENTER. "Erase All Data?" will be displayed.  Press  or  to select "Execute," and then press  /ENTER. The memory card is formatted.  Press  STOP to return to the stop mode display.

Selecting the memory using the menu
Select MENU
the
tab
“Select Memory,”and
then press
/ENTER.
Press
or
to select “Memory Card” or “Built-in Memory,” and
then press
/ENTER.
If you select “Memory Card” and the memory card
has not been formatted, proceed to the next step.
Otherwise, proceed to step 5.
When the memory card is not formatted, select Menu
the
tab
“Format,”and then press
/ENTER.
“Erase All Data?” will be displayed.
Press
or
to select“Execute,” and then press
/ENTER.
The memory card is formatted.
Press
