Maximum*: The noise cut levels will be more intense. Medium: The noise cut level will be weakened. Select when you cannot catch the sound easily by setting "Noise Cut Level" to "Maximum." Note When playing back files using the builtin speaker or recording an FM radio broadcast ( p. 71), the noise cut function does not work. Sets the effect you want for the playback. Pop: Stresses middle ranges, ideal for vocals. Rock: Emphasizes high and low ranges for a powerful sound. Jazz: Emphasizes high ranges for lively sound. Bass1: The bass sound is emphasized. Bass2: The bass sound is emphasized even more. Custom: You can design your own custom sound level for 5 bands of EQ (100 Hz, 300 Hz, 1 kHz, 3 kHz and 10 kHz) in 7 steps (-3 to +3).
