Selecting the Picture Mode You can select one of three different Picture Modes that best suits the program you are watching. Furthermore, you can adjust the picture quality for each Picture Mode (see pages 59, 60). You can set a different Picture Mode for each video input that can be selected using the Input Select buttons, and store them in memory. Press PICTURE repeatedly until the desired mode appears. Each time you press the button, the Picture Mode changes as follows: MODE PICTURE , Vivid Standard Pro DVD/ SAT/ POWER MUTING VCR CABLE MODE PICTURE WIDE SLEEP DISPLAY FREEZE FAVORITES MENU TOP MENU PICTURE Picture Mode Vivid Standard Pro Description Select for enhanced picture contrast and sharpness. Select to display a picture with contrast to suit your room's lighting conditions. This mode is recommended for normal viewing conditions. Select for professional monitor-like appearance. Tip You can adjust the picture quality options, such as "Picture," "Brightness," and "Color," for each Picture Mode (see pages 59, 60).
